Rajessh M Iyer
A media professional for over two decades, Rajessh M Iyer is a storyteller and has been a part of many media houses, notable being Magna Publications, Macmillan India, and Amar Chitra Katha Pvt. Ltd., in various capacities like Chief Editor, Creative Head, and CEO.
He is the author of two books for children: 'Nanha Natkhat: Tales of Little Krishna' and 'Valiant Warriors'. He has also authored six novels: the Amazon India #1 bestseller, 'Evading the Shadows', a fictional spy thriller set during the Mahabharata; 'Hari and Friends—A Holi Adventure', a nostalgic, coming-of-age story set in India of the ’80s; 'Spinner of the Twisted Tale', a wondrous story of a storyteller’s life; 'Karmic Souls', a love story set amidst spiritual awakening; 'Mind Whisperer', a fictional retelling of the last four days in the life of Karna during the Mahabharata War, 'Jabberwockiers', an emotional tearjerker that looks at an unusual father-daughter relationship and 'The Scarlet Horizon', a fictional interpretation of an event in the Mahabharata, where the traditional narrative is fused with Tantric and Shakta traditions.. He is also the author of three spiritual books under the 'Spiritual Droplets' series, namely, 'A Parliament of Owls and other eclectic tales', 'Flight of the Dead Bird and other eclectic tales' and 'The Secret Behind Beheading Buddha and other eclectic tales'.
Apart from fiction, Rajessh has also authored 'Uncle Pai', biography of Mr. Anant Pai, the man who created the iconic Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle magazine.
Two of his books have already been acquired for films and will be seen on screen in the near future.
